Just throwing some ideas for next project. There's a competition on Threedy Forum that I want to join in (the topic is about Slayer) but I'm not sure I can make it. Anyway, I'm happy I get to draw some car again.
Some idea for a character to go with the car. It's meant to be quick (dirty) sketch but I thought I could always use more practice on coloring/texturing. This is by no means the final sketch for the character because there are still more design ideas I want to explore (that's why I didn't finish with her face).

2009 Comicon Challenge
This year I decided to model Magdalena from Witchblade universe. The goal is to make her stylized like in the comics with more superhero body proportion (and to represent Top Cow Comics of course). The full progress can be viewed HERE
2D Sketch - 1 day
3D Sketch - 4/5 days
I usually start with concept art but this time I decided to jump right into 3D sketch first since I already know what I want to do on the model. But I'll do some sketches later when I'm not too occupied. I spent a lot of time on this stage to make sure that I get the proportion and the look of the character right.

[Update] - High Resolution model
The ZBrush model is basically done. All I need is to put the pieces together. I'll try to get some turnaround in ZBrush using the new turntable later.
[Update] - Low Resolution Model
The low res model is around 90% done. I just need to add some belts.
[Update] - Quick Texture Test (in Marmoset Engine)

[DW IV] - My 3D Entry
