Cat Archer

New small project I've been working for 2 days (concept - 3D sketch). It's another practice before I jump onto bigger project.

Game Model

The model is over 1500 but it's not optimized yet. Hopefully, I can bring it down to 1500.


Update WIP September 8

I managed to work on this model more. I optimized the model again and managed to bring the polycount down below 1,500 triangles.



Update - September 9

Updated the texture. I blocked in most of the textures.



Last Update - September 10

Model rigged and posed. I also tweak the mesh and texture based on some comments.

[Progress] - Psylocke from 3D Sketch to Present State

I've been working on the model on and off. Sometimes I do have time to work on it whole day but sometimes something important comes up (e.g. art test, interview, family matters, etc.) and I have no choice to hold the project back.

Aug 4 -5 - 3D Sketch Done (2 days)

Basically, I need to lock down the proportion and get a better picture of how my concept art will translate into 3D.


Aug 9 - Blocking-in

I started to blocking in body parts in ZBrush.


Aug 14 - More Blocking-in & Boots sculpted



Aug 20 - Hands Sculpted

I decided to give her different type of glove to break the silhouette a little bit. Also, I tweaked her proportion a bit based on some comments I got.


Aug 25 - Blocking-in the Corset



Aug 27 - Sculpt Nearly Done

I still need to refine her head and sculpt the hairlines (maybe refine other areas too). Next step is to create the low-poly version of her and texture.


Aug 28 - Hairlines Sculpted

Just some quick update on the hair and more tweaking on the proportion.

Low poly horse update April 30, 2008

Here's some updates on the horse. My friend said she'd like to animate it for her reel. It should be interesting. It sits around 4,400 Tris now but I'm not too worry about the polycount on this model as long it's animatable.

DW3 poster & lizard update

This is something that I came up for DW3 team poster. We had to use simple BG for this one but I may change that later for personal use.



Also, I did another test render for the lizard guy because I'm planning to render it for widescreen.

Finally made it...sort of

I finally completed my entry for DW3 even though I'm not quite happy with the presentation but I was running out of time. I'm still planning to work on this a bit more and polish it more. There are some items/accessories that are missing on these characters.

DW III Updates April 6

Some updates for my entry. I might be able to finish the ZBrush tonight so hopefully, I can start texturing tomorrow. I'm still not quite happy with the face but I'll go with it for now.
