DW3 poster & lizard update

This is something that I came up for DW3 team poster. We had to use simple BG for this one but I may change that later for personal use.



Also, I did another test render for the lizard guy because I'm planning to render it for widescreen.

Finally made it...sort of

I finally completed my entry for DW3 even though I'm not quite happy with the presentation but I was running out of time. I'm still planning to work on this a bit more and polish it more. There are some items/accessories that are missing on these characters.

DW III Updates April 6

Some updates for my entry. I might be able to finish the ZBrush tonight so hopefully, I can start texturing tomorrow. I'm still not quite happy with the face but I'll go with it for now.

Dominance War III - 3D entry




Here's my 3D entry for DW3. Thank God for the extension. I'm planning to have 2 characters for the entry. The main character will have summoning ability. The spirit face needs a lot of works but I want to make it less human. The last image is the screen capture of the low poly. You can check my thread here

Flag Girl WIP

Initially, I was trying to model Jennifer Nicole, one of the Bullrun flag girls but I couldn't find good reference pictures of her (I have some pictures of her but they're not good enough for references). Plus, I'm not too happy how the head turns out.



Here's new head that I'm going to use instead. I use her for reference because of my friend's suggestion.

Thorny Lizard WIP

Another project I've been working on. Here's the initial concept and the paint over of the Zbrush model for color references. He's inspired by a lizard called thorny devil.

I just started texturing so it's not quite done yet (I still need to add the tribal tattoo). But I just rendered it to test the texture. I'm planning to make game resolution of this character (now it's over 10, 000 Tris). You can check the sculpting progress here

Horse WIP


Originally, I was going to make a statue of 2 horses interacting with one another because it's easier to sculpt the hair and tail (instead of using Maya or XSI hair or alpha cards) but then my friend saw my work and she wanted to animate my horse with normal map on. It's still missing the hair and tail. I'm still planning to finish the statue but now I'm focusing on my Dominance War 3 entries

Random Female Character

I was going to design a femme fatale. I need a lot of works on this but I'll put on hold for now since I'm still doing the 3D sketch of her.

Celebrity Bobblehead

This is my first post here. I created this model around a year ago for game art competition "Celebrity Bobblehead". The total polycount is just under 1500 Tris. It's pretty fun project.
